Treble's Morgan Manor was founded on a trilogy of stallions: Quaker's Acre Treble, followed by Treble's Willy Wild, then the incomparable Tug Hill Commando. Another influential stallion became Mtn Laurel Maximilian, a Commando son, who became a tremendous sire of producers for us. We now proudly offer our next sire for the future... |

THIS JUST IN: Master Player has been DNA tested to be homozygous (EE-AA) for brown and bay, which means he will only ever sire these colors in various shades no matter what color mare he is bred to.
Taking it to the next level... With the extensive linebreeding of Waseeka's Nocturne and Upwey Ben Don in the first three decades of the Treble's program, it only made sense to search for the perfect outcross that would carry us into the new millennium and beyond.
Our acquisition of AFF Norma Jean and her four subsequent foals by WC Serenity Masterpiece gave us exactly the right stallion to sire our next generation of champions. Masterpiece brings to the table a distinctive size, look and talent through his double Fleetwing, combined with the proven Vigilmarch and Brunk lines that have nicked so well for decades. AFF Norma Jean contributed an additional line to Fleetwing, as well as a common thread back to In Command, a dose of the vaunted Trophy, and Master Player's bottom line combines the history-making Noble Flaire with the grand show mare and producer Amanda Lil Rogers. This is a very interesting pedigree and one that is uncommon in today's breeding circles.
Master Player's first foal arrived in 2009 and we were very excited to see the quality, ability and elegance that he contributed to the mix. With his 2010 offspring brought a security in our faith. We are currently assembling photos of a few of his get and will have a gallery here soon, so please check back. We are very excited about his beautiful bay filly that arrived on April 7th out of our premier producer, Treble's Pomp And Byzazz!

There is probably no other Morgan name that commands more instant recognition and appreciation than TUG HILL COMMANDO. Purchased in the fall of his birth year as an outcross for the Treble's mares, he has remained under the watchful eyes of Carol and co-owners Drs. Jerome and Shirley Modell throughout his life, and still today lives just down the road at Cheri Barber Stables with his lifetime trainer/handler. From his exquisite beauty to his dozens of World Champion foals, he singlehandedly raised the bar to which all other stallions of his generation aspired to attain. His "Golden Cross" on the Willy Wild daughters (many of whom were out of daughters of Quaker's Acre Treble) quickly put Treble's Morgan Manor on the map and became the gold standard for Morgan type, character and quality. The 20-plus year reign of Commando sons and daughters both in the show ring as well as the breeding shed is a full chapter of Morgan history. While Commando is still hale and hearty at 28 years of age, he is no longer settling mares, although we maintain a limited supply of viable frozen semen for the future. |

"Heir to the throne", this stunning and talented son of Tug Hill Commando had a long and illustrious show career that began with World Championships in hand as a two year old in 1992, and continued throughout the 1990's and into the early 2000's as he won title after title in the English Pleasure division.
Purchased by the Connor family in 1999, Max was then gelded and went on to become a World Champion in the Junior Exhibitor English Pleasure division with both Shannon Connor and later with the Woolley family.
His Grand National and World Championship titles include 1992 Sire Auction Sweepstakes Stallions & Geldings WC, 1992 Junior Champion Stallion RWC, 1992 Two Year Old Stallion RGNC, 1993 Three Year Old Stallion RGNC, 1994 English Pleasure 4 Year Old Stallion & Gelding RGNC, 1994 Four Yr Old English Pleasure RWC, 1995 English Pleasure Stallion GNC, 1995 English Pleasure RWC, 1996 English Pleasure Stallion GNC, 1996 English Pleasure WC, 1998 Amateur English Pleasure Stallion GNC, 1998 Amateur English Pleasure WC, 2001 Jr. Exhibitor English Pleasure 11 & Under GNC, and 2001 Jr. Exhibitor English Pleasure 13 & Under WC.
Before his untimely death, Max had established himself as a superb sire of producers. And thanks to the miracle of frozen semen, there are still Max foals appearing in limited numbers.

Treble's Willy Wild was foaled in 1977 and from the moment he arrived, I knew he was a future star to build a breeding program upon. His illustrious show career included many wins in hand and park saddle and culminated at 11 years of age when he was crowned Grand Champion Stallion at the prestigious New England Regional Morgan Show. Willy had an ethereal beauty about him that just captivated everyone who saw him in person. His photos never did him justice. He was quite simply one of the most beautiful Morgan Horses of the last 100 years.
His true mark of greatness appeared when his daughters began to produce World Champion after World Champion when bred to Tug Hill Commando. This pairing was hard to beat for quality, beauty and trainability.

Carol started out looking for another Arabian, and instead this big, flashy chestnut colt caught her eye and began her foray into the Morgan world. A grandson of Trophy, he was purchased as a yearling and was shown as a park saddle horse throughout the southeast, winning amateur and open titles with his flamboyant motion and Morgan panache. This courageous stallion lived his life to the fullest while fighting a liver disease that ultimately caused his untimely death. A few of his important titles include a Reserve National Championship Park Saddle award behind the immortal Waseeka's In Command.
Although his foals numbered just 20, they included the very important beginnings of Treble's Morgan Manor through his outstanding daughters.
Sire of 20 registered get, including: Trebles Morgana, Trebles Tender Touch, Quail Run Gingersnap, Tequila Sunrise, I'm A Treble Too, Southwinds Lyric, Dawnhill Alexsis and Dawnhill Jubilation |
